GMO Pocket Trauma Kit

Pocket Trauma Kit A compact, purpose-built trauma kit designed to fit into most pants back pockets without the bulk of a conventional medical pouch. The kit is housed in a durable ripstop canvas pouch with a high-visibility orange interior and a bright red pull tab. Pulling the tab lifts the internal medical components upward, allowing rapid access when every second matters. A wide elastic panel on the rear securely carries the tourniquet while keeping the overall profile slim and discreet. Built for everyday carry, vehicle kits, range bags, security personnel, outdoor use and emergency preparedness, this kit provides essential equipment for managing severe bleeding, penetrating chest injuries, airway obstruction and shock. Kit Contents Rhino Rescue Vented Chest Seal Designed for the emergency treatment of penetrating chest injuries. The chest seal uses a three-channel, four-vent system that allows trapped air and blood to escape while helping prevent air from being drawn back into the chest cavity. This supports the management of open chest wounds and reduces the risk of tension pneumothorax. Rhino Rescue Compressed Gauze Z-Fold A sterile, vacuum-packed gauze suitable for controlling moderate to severe bleeding. Made from 100% cotton, the gauze offers excellent fluid absorption and can be used for wound packing, direct pressure, minor wound dressing or as backing gauze with haemostatic products and compression bandages. Its Z-fold configuration allows it to deploy smoothly while remaining extremely compact inside the pouch. Rhino Rescue Chitosan Haemostatic Granules Fast-acting haemostatic granules designed to assist with severe or difficult-to-control bleeding. The soluble chitosan granules conform to irregular and deep wounds, helping concentrate pressure directly at the bleeding source. They are designed to promote rapid clot formation without generating heat and may remain effective in cold conditions or where normal clotting is impaired. Nasopharyngeal Airway with Lubricant A sterile 28Fr nasopharyngeal airway designed to help maintain an open airway. The flexible, soft material improves patient comfort, while the rounded tip assists with insertion. A flanged end helps prevent over-insertion. Specifications: 28Fr Internal diameter: 6.5 mm Overall diameter: 9.3 mm Sterile and single use Includes a sachet of water-soluble lubricating jelly Emergency Thermal Blanket A lightweight, compact thermal blanket intended to help retain body heat and reduce heat loss following trauma, exposure or shock. Rhino Rescue Metal Tourniquet A robust pre-hospital tourniquet designed for fast and effective control of life-threatening extremity bleeding. The tourniquet features a metal aluminium windlass rod for increased strength, a reinforced internal band, a stabilisation plate and a single-routing buckle for rapid application. The white windlass strap includes a dedicated section for recording the application time.
