Join Us On Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/greymanoperations How do we actually stop gender-based violence and the broader problem of violence against the women as well as children in South Africa? Michel and I have an honest conversation about one of the most serious problems facing South African society. This isn’t about pretending there is one simple answer. It’s about asking the difficult questions: Where does the problem start? What needs to change? What role do men, women, families and communities play? And what can ordinary South Africans actually do to help prevent violence before it happens? Gender-based violence cannot simply become another headline that we become accustomed to seeing. Behind every statistic is a real person, a real family and a life that may never be the same again. Our intention with this video is not to claim that we have all the answers. It is to start a constructive conversation about what needs to change and what each of us can do to contribute towards a safer South Africa. We would genuinely like to hear your thoughts. What do you believe South Africa needs to do differently to reduce gender-based violence? Please keep the discussion respectful. People will have different experiences and different perspectives, but this is a subject that deserves a serious conversation. If you believe this discussion is important, please share the video. Sometimes the first step towards changing something is refusing to remain silent about it. 🇿🇦 A safer South Africa starts with all of us.
