In this video, I take a closer look at emergency trauma medical equipment and rank the different items into three categories: ESSENTIAL — Equipment I consider a priority when putting together a trauma medical kit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED — Equipment I believe is worth adding to improve your medical preparedness. NICE TO HAVE — Useful equipment that may have its place but isn't necessarily my first priority. Whether you're putting together your first trauma kit, upgrading your everyday carry (EDC), or looking to improve your emergency preparedness, this video will help you think about what equipment deserves a place in your kit. The goal isn't to carry everything. It's to understand what you're carrying, why you're carrying it, and how it fits into your preparation for a medical emergency.
